It has more emphasis on oak than the Piccadilly Valley and is designed to peak later. Both wines - and also the reserves for that matter - are made in the same way. The nose of the '07 Estate jumps out of the glass and is not at all brooding. The forest-floor/gamey aromas follow on to the fruit-sweet, silky palate which has power without weight. Moderate tannin and good natural acidity with beautiful texture and a long, lingering finish.
